South London Branch December 2016

On Saturday 10th December 2016 nineteen of us sat down to a Christmas Lunch provided, without charge, by the generosity of T. S. Trafalgar. Lunch consisted of three courses, including wine, followed by coffee and the naval tradition of passing the port.

T.S. Trafalgar cadets, dressed immaculately, waited upon us splendidly. A raffle was held after the meal with a great array of prizes. This raised £82. A collection was taken for the cadets amounting to £75. Presentations were made to Charlie Burton, Pearl Bryant and Carol Steel for making the afternoon and mealso successful. T. S. Trafalgar did us proud.

Normal service will be resumed on Sunday 19th February 2017 when our next meeting will be held at 11 am at T. S. Trafalgar, Commonside West, Mitcham. It is hoped that as many members as possible will be able to be present. Let us endeavour to keep the spirit of Coastal Forces alive! All good wishes.
